If you've booked in a service with us and need to fill in some forms, click on the one you're required to complete, and send it to us via email or in person when we come to your property. Please contact us with any questions.
By booking with Jono's Sheep Shearing Services (JSS), You (the Client) agree to the following conditions at the time of booking.
1. Jono's Sheep Shearing Services reserves the right to cancel any booking, at any time, without notice.
1.1. Unforeseen personal circumstances may result in booking cancellations. Notice will be given if your booking is to be cancelled and rescheduled.
2. JSS Staff will not operate in inclement weather booked for that day. Inclement weather can include but not limited to wet or misty days, or extreme hot days.
2.1.1. Due to health and safety; JSS Staff members reserve the right to not operate on days that exceed 35 degrees Celsius according to the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) in the client’s area, if there is an active bush fire in the Mount Lofty Ranges or the client’s area, or if the CFS has declared a Catastrophic fire day in the Mount Lofty Ranges or in the client’s area.
2.1.2. If extreme weather causes your booking to be cancelled, staff will reschedule you to the next available time.
3. The team at Jono’s Sheep Services, strive to arrive at the allocated time frame, due to unforeseen factors that may impede that time, Jono's Sheep Shearing Services may reschedule at any time due to weather (see Clause 2.), or time restrictions due to unforeseen & exceptional circumstances.
4. Not all services may be available at the time of booking, and we will notify the client of any services that are unavailable.
5. We require all animals booked in for appointments, to be yarded in a maximum area of 1.5m2 per sheep, alpacas must be yarded in a maximum area of 2.5m2 per alpaca. Failure to yard animals prior to the staff arrival will result in additional charges. We ask animals are yarded the night prior to your booked date.
5.1.1. If you do not have yards, you must alert staff that your require portable yards to be brought to appointment. This will incur an additional set up fee for portable yarding equipment hire for your booking and herding animals into yards.
6. Your dogs must be securely yarded or kept inside your house upon staff arrival, as we value our staff member’s safety. We understand your dog may be friendly, however, it is to ensure our staff and work dog’s safety that they, your dog/s, are safely kept away upon our arrival.
6.1.1 Our staff have work dog's that you may require the service of for yarding your animals, they do not leave our staff's work vehicles unless you have given consent for their use on your property.
6.1.2 In the case that the work dog causes severe external bodily harm to your livestock, JSS will compensate and treat animals injuries, within reason.
6.1.3 In the event that injury to work dog/s is sustained, as a result of livestock or property conditions, the client is responsible for veterinary fees for associated with work dog/s injuries.
7. Any advice given or health advice given, is advice only, as we are not qualified veterinarians.
8. All service prices of booked appointments are subject to change and vary, this may be due to added services done on the day of the booking. Jono's Sheep Shearing Services provide a free, and accurate, online quote service. Any quote generated on the online quote service is a quote only and it is at the discretion of the staff members to apply discounts or additional charges at the completion of the job.
9. Any abuse from clients will not be tolerated & you will cease to receive any services by Jono's Sheep Services.
10. Our invoices have a 14-day grace period to be paid in full. Any invoice not paid by the end of the 14-day grace period will incur a late fee of 5% of the total bill. An additional 5% of the original invoice, will be added every week that the invoice has not been paid, from the initial due date of invoice, until full payment is made.
10.1. All prior outstanding invoices must be paid in full prior to your next booking. The client understands that unpaid funds result in any services that are being provided, will be terminated. Any legal fees required to collect outstanding funds, will be incurred by the client from Jono's Sheep Services.
11. All bookings made incur a flat fee of a $70 deposit. This deposit is not a full payment of services. The deposit is only to secure your booking. Deposits are only a partial payment and will be deducted from the full amount after all work is completed. (Use our online quote tool, on our website (on the online booking page) to configure the upcoming cost of your booking).
